We are a small family business, founded by my Dad, Giuseppe and myself, Marianna in the heart of Wishaw. We have been in hospitality for many years and since opening our premises in 2016, we have tried to fill a big gap in the Italian wine and food market. We realised there are very few independent, family run wholesalers, that brought both the authenticity of Italy and the quality we know you expect.

Ever since Mia Vino was established, our leading aspirations have been simple - to remain a family run business and to always deliver traditional food and wine to you. The food and wine Italians love.

The best way to do this? - go right to the source. We buy our stock directly from Italy. We make real Italian food more accessible, to not only our trade customers, but you at home too.

We want all our customers to walk away from our premises, knowing they could make an authentic Italian meal at home with our delicious ingredients, washed down with a bottle of our fabulous wines. You might even forget about the cloudy Scottish weather.

Myself and my Dad’s sole focus is Mia Vino. We have expanded not only our wine range but also our fresh food. We stock a wide range of food from cured meats, to pasta and oils. With our wines coming straight from the vine to our shelves, we are working with fantastic vineyards across Italy. And there’s more - at Mia Vino you can now also get wines and beers that are exclusive to us in Scotland, such as our Matronae range and Birra Antoniana.

So what’s new at Mia Vino? We have a new online shop and new staff member Kim. We want to grow our brand and make traditional Italian food as accessible as possible to the hospitality sector and to you our valued customer.

We hope to see you soon at our warehouse, or with a delivery to your door, with of some of our wonderful food and wine. You may not be able to go to Italy, but we at Mia Vino can bring a little taste of Italy to you.
